First, thanks to all of you guys for the help planning my trip to London. I'm so excited, you have no idea. And remember, if you'd like a postcard, you can PM me your address up until March 26th. ^^

I found this today, and had to share it with all of you. This vidder took Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Sherlock and X-Men First Class and made the ultimate trailer for the ultimate movie. A must-see. ♥

I would sell my soul to Crowley to make this happen. :D

It's the first day of snow here, in a whole year! It's even staying on the ground, instead of melting, and here it's kind of a rare thing. In such a wonderful day (I love snow, I can't help it), every order I did on Amazon in the last two months arrived, all in the same package. It's like Christmas on February 01. *_____*

Every last thing I bought there since December, I told you. The Sherlock 2 bluray, and the soundtrack. I spent a good five minutes sniffing the booklet. It smells so good, like an old book. Hey, you already knew I was weird, this is hardly news. :D Good Omens is there because my copy has a horrible cover, and it's been bugging me to no end. Besides, I wanted a copy to read and carry around and a copy to look pretty on the shelf. His Dark Materials, because I only have the Italian version, and even if it's a good translation and everything, it is unacceptable. And Drive. ♥

The Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy limited edition. It's like a treasure chest. I found the book, the playing cards, the notebook, and then I spent a couple of minutes turning it around and shaking it until I found the secret drawer. Yes, it has a secret drawer, with the bluray disc, the soundtrack, and a project witchcraft file. But it was the secret drawer that got me squeeing like an idiot. :D

Bonus picture, snow on the balcony. And it's getting thicker and thicker. I had to wait a while, but I finally got the White Christmas I wanted. :D

I also got my I Believe In Sherlock Holmes pin from CafePress, and I already pinned it on my bag. *______*

Yesterday Tati, her mom and I went to the cinema to watch Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. It was only us and another woman in there, so it was perfect, no one to bother us at all.

First things first, I loved it. Let's face it, I had to. It's a spy story, set in the year of Life on Mars, with some of my favourite actors ever. And then they went and put a beautiful cover of La Mer in that one scene too, and it's not like I love that song to pieces, and I want them to play it at my wedding, and my funeral, not at all.

For those who haven't seen it yet, yes, it's a slow movie. But it's the perfect pace for this kind of movie, and it just works. The story is complicated, but not hard to follow, you just have to pay very close attention. But that's what's great about spy stories, mystery novels, you can't get distracted.

We also weren't expecting Benedict Cumberbatch to have such a huge part, and that was wonderful. He was in almost every scene, it was great. And Gary Oldman was perfect, although that's not news, and Tom Hardy was... wow. He looked like he just jumped out of the seventies, he was so... real. And so beautiful, holy crap.

And now for the spoilerrific part! )

And now, I'll drop by Amazon and order the bluray. This movie needs (and deserves) to be seen many times. *__________*

It's such a wonderful feeling when every movie you watch you just love. It's been a great year for movies indeed.
