Hit Girl from Kick Ass. I actually went to see X-Men First Class because it was a movie from "the guy who did Kick Ass". Hit Girl is my favourite character, she's brave and fierce and a twelve-year-old girl who fights like a Sith Lord. 


I've been playing the drums on Rock Band since april 2010, and now I'm getting real good at it. I'm planning on taking lessons too, it's just the best instrument ever.

Yesterday, in the evening, the lights kept switching off the whole time. More or less, ten times from 9 pm to 10 pm. It was one of the most annoying things ever. I called the electrician and he'll come tomorrow, and he'd better be, because otherwise I'm going to kill him.

Anyway, now everything seems to be working again, I just hope it won't switch off later when I'm in the shower!

- That's a VgCats strip, almighty Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII hunting Chocobos. I always found it really funny (especially the expression on the chocobo's face), so it's my icon for my silly posts. And the idea that Sephiroth is screaming while doing a sneak attack makes it even funnier. :D

- My favourite character ever, Dean Winchester from Supernatural, being the adorable rock'n'roll fanatic he is. This is my icon for my happy posts, and for all my posts concerning Rock Band and drumming. :D

- Ray, Gene and scary Keats from Ashes to Ashes. I loved this shot, it was like Gene and Keats were the little angel and devil on Ray's shoulder, and he had to choose a side. Confused, depressed posts, this is for you!

- The tenth Doctor and Rose from Doctor Who being all happy and goofy. God, I love this ship. Aaaand I needed a laughing icon, for when I post something funny like that macarena video from Avatar TLA.

- My favourite bromance ever, JD and Turk from Scrubs. I spent half my life in hospitals, and when I first saw Scrubs I was shocked at how perfectly they could depict how it is living in hospitals. One of my favourite series ever, the dvds are always by the tv so that I can re-watch an episode every evening while cooking.

- My oldest icon in the batch, Maru and Moro from the XXX-Holic anime. I talk a lot about music, since I'm constantly listening to music, and I just needed a bunch of icons of people playing air-guitar/air-drums (see above) to convey my feelings. :D

Ok, I actually feel better now. Shower time! The sun is out, the air is cold, we'll probably go the beach, but because of my stupid period I won't be able to wear a bikini. I'll probably go for shorts and a tanktop. Still looking forward to it, since this is probably going to be the last day at the beach in 2010. ^^

hellboy 2 - red/liz - one of my favourite movies of all time, the kind of movie I can quote in my sleep. They're just the perfect couple, so mature, devoted to each other. Maybe it's me growing older, but this is the kind of love I find most romantic. The married couple kind, where you're over all the stupid teenager-ish stuff and it's all about living together, devotion, and going to the united kingdom to find a scary witch-death-thing that can save your beloved even if it means starting the apocalipse. oops.


avatar - zuko - love this cartoon, it's one of the best animated series ever. This scene is from one of my favourite episodes, and it's one of the few times you get to see Zuko being insecure, clumsy and funny as hell. I can't say I'm looking forward to the movie (I'm still pissed off about the whole white cast), but the special effects look sweet, so I'll probably see it in the theaters anyway.


regina spektor - I love this woman, her songs, her voice, and her videos: they all have this crazy, magical and funny atmosphere, they always cheer me up. I'm the kind of person who's always listening to music: on my pc, on my ipod, on the radio, humming in my head, so I was in desperate need of a musical icon, and that's how this one was born. She's playing a typewriter as if it was a piano, and notes are floating in the air. Isn't it the most adorable thing ever?


supernatural - sam winchester - simply the best scene ever with Sam. We already knew Jensen was a great actor, and Misha had had his amazing scenes as well, but Jared never had the opportunity to show us how *great* he was up until that scene in the garden. With the red roses. And his sweet smile. And Dean's single tear. And the sound of my heart breaking.


the fall - roy and alexandra - just in case you didn't know, I have huge daddy issues. As in "when I grow up I want to marry my daddy", comparing all guys I meet with my dad and so on, and that's why I just *love* father figures. Nothing sexual, mind you, just your regular loving dad. See Bobby in Supernatural (John doesn't count because he's kind of an asshole, although a very hot one), Wolverine in X-Men (first movie), and Roy in The Fall. Which also happens to be one of the best movies ever.


heavy rain - just your regular origami from heavy rain. Took me two hours to make following the instructions from the game, and it's still not perfect. I know, I'm just so clumsy. Anyway, buy the game, buy the ps3 just so you can buy the game, because it is one of the most amazing gaming experiences ever.

Funny story of the day, I cut one of my fingers in my sleep. A bit of skin fell off, and it hurts a lot, but I didn't wake up until the alarm clock went off. It's from a screenshot from some Asian movie (Chinese maybe?) I found on film_stills. I wasn't interested in the movie, but I was thrilled by this image of a girl reading a book while relaxing... on the rails. Lately I've been feeling like that: everything is going too fine, so I feel nervous, as if a train was coming behind my back, and I couldn't notice it.

Off-topic, yesterday at last my copy of Rg Veda 10 arrived (a month late... I hate Amazon). Was I the only one who hadn't noticed that Yasha loses an eye in the last few pages? He keeps it closed and has a large scar (just like he did in Tsubasa) on it. The one-eyed festival goes on. ;)

I just watched 50 first dates, as I wanted to see something cheerful and have a few laughs. My, that was sad! O_o Alright, it started like your usual comedy, and then it got all blue and sad, and watch-memento-if-you-haven't-already-ish. They also spoiled the ending for The Sixth Sense, how mean of them! ;)

I'm also currently watching Heroes, that nbc tv series, as lunalovegoddess mentioned it. After all, I always end up liking the sci-fi series, with that X-Files touch, I can't help it. My favourite character? Obviously Hiro, most of all because I usually can understand everything he says without subs! Maybe because he's using small, simple sentences full of engrish terms, but hey, let me brag about it a bit. ;)

This morning (and yesterday night) I practiced with my guitar. I bought a book with all the chords, as this time I want to seriously learn how to play it. My dad gave it to me as a xmas gift in 1998 (our last xmas together), and he started teaching me how to play it, but all in all I can only go leeng-aa-leeng-eee-leeng, and play some tunes one string at a time. Today I spent three hours making the basic exercises, and now my fingertips are aching... but I won't give up! *makes her best Kobato impersonation, and goes back to playing*
