- Well, it didn't take that much of imagination on my side. Nausicaa is the nickname they gave me back at University five years ago, when we started our Archeology classes. It's from the princess of the Phaeacians in the Odyssey; a couple of years later I discovered Miyazaki, and his amazing movie, Kaze No Tani No Nausicaa, which added awesomness to that name. ;) 83 because it's the year I was born (no, I'm not 83 years old :P ).

2. My name is _____ because _____
- Valentina because of Valentina Tereshkova, the first woman who went into space. My parents loved astronomy, and Russia. ^^ Funny thing, years later my mom told me they had on their list of names Nausicaa too, and it almost won.

3. My journal is titled _____ because _____
- The Moon In The Well, from various things: a story, I think Chinese, of a man trying to catch the moon he sees in the well. It's kind of a recurrent theme in folklore. The main reason, anyway, is a verse from Francesco De Gregori's Il Ragazzo:

Chissà la gente che ne sa
Chissà la gente che ne sa
Dei suoi pensieri sul cuscino, che ne sa
Della sua luna in fondo al pozzo, che ne sa

I just thought it was appropriate for a "Friends" page, it's how I feel about my close friends. ^^

It's from a screenshot from some Asian movie (Chinese maybe?) I found on film_stills. I wasn't interested in the movie, but I was thrilled by this image of a girl reading a book while relaxing... on the rails. Lately I've been feeling like that: everything is going too fine, so I feel nervous, as if a train was coming behind my back, and I couldn't notice it.

Off-topic, yesterday at last my copy of Rg Veda 10 arrived (a month late... I hate Amazon). Was I the only one who hadn't noticed that Yasha loses an eye in the last few pages? He keeps it closed and has a large scar (just like he did in Tsubasa) on it. The one-eyed festival goes on. ;)

EDIT: just found on youtube one of my favourite scenes in the history of cinema: watch it, you can't miss it. It makes me smile and want to dance everytime. *_______*
