I'm ready! I brought Sakura to the cat-pension, spent the afternoon with a friend, bought the last few things I needed, and did all the packing. This time I'm bringing my ukulele with me! I'll be away for ten days, I don't want to get rusty, and this way I can finally play for my uncle and aunt. All the tickets are printed, the picture for John Finnemore to sign is in my bag, I'm currently charging the camera, phone, ipod and kindle. *jumps up and down*

Yesterday Tati and I went to the cinema to watch How To Train Your Dragon 2. The first one is one of my favourite movies of all time, and I was afraid this one was going to suffer from sequel syndrome. Turns out, it's got Empire Strikes Back syndrome. It was so good it was unbelievable. We laughed, we cried, we cheered, we came out planning to re-watch the whole series (first movie, ovas, tv series). So freaking good.

And then this morning Tati informed me that during the night I talked in my sleep. I never do, except for bloodcurdling screams during nightmares, but those are very rare. So I asked her what I'd been talking about, and it turns out I was debating the merits of the movie we'd just seen, and the different dragons in it.

I don't talk in my sleep. I film analysis essay in my sleep.

What can I say, I'm hardcore. :D

First of all, thanks for the kind words, they meant a lot. It was quite the depressing day, but I ate lots of chocolate, watched cartoons, tried to live the pain instead of ignoring it. So, in the end, today I feel better, a lot more energetic. Sometimes one just has to be left alone with one's thoughts.

I finally watched How To Train Your Dragon, and fell in love with it. As in "as soon as it was over I watched it all over again. Three times. And then I obsessed over the soundtrack, looking for piano covers of my favourite tracks on YouTube. And then I watched it all over again." That kind of love. Still it sucks I can't have it on blu ray, like, now. I want a Toothless plushie too!
