Non-spoilery review: oh-my-gawd, I loved this episode, must have more, is that a Oceanic plane?, the new opening rocks!
*takes a deep breath*
Spoilery review under the cut!
5x01 - Sympathy For The Devil
What a blast of a season premiere. I was holding my breath for 40 minutes! Just like for the fourth season's premiere, we had lots of new infos about the show's mythology. Dean's a vessel, and not only that, he's Michael's vessel. Let's just ignore all the shameful Michael-wants-inside-Dean jokes that suddenly popped inside my head. ^^"
The Angels are really, really scaring me. Maybe they want us to be sure that Lucifer's an Angel too. I can't freaking wait to see Mark Pellegrino playing Satan himself. Maybe I'll stop calling him Jacob everytime he's on screen. And the torture scene? That scared me silly! These Angels are even worst than Demons!
Who saved the brothers and Cass? I've a feeling it was God. Who else could it be? Not to mention they got rid of Sam's demon blood addiction pretty easily. Plus, I don't think they would ever go for a Philip Pullman-ish "God doesn't exist, it's all Metatron's plan". That would be a bit too much, I fear.
Plus, there are fangirls. I laughed my sides off when she started touching Sam. And Cass spent the summer learning some fight moves. Good work there, Cass! That almost made up for that scene in Chuck's house, with Cass splattered all over the place... and all over Chuck. God, that was gross.
I can't freaking wait for the next episode! And today my 4th Season Boxset arrived! That's one odd coincidence. O_O
And off I go for a long weekend at Tati's, just me, her and the cast of Lost. Yep, fifth season marathon here we come!
