Heroes s03 e01 - The Second Coming

nausicaa83It'll take another hour to get the second episode, so while I'm waiting here's my review of the first episode:
First, I loved this episode. As in "covering my mouth in shock for a good 30 minutes, while screaming every once in a while" love. Second, I definitely need to re-watch it a couple of times, there were just so many things!
But I'll never, ever re-watch the brain sequence, not even if my life were on stake, because, man, that has to be the single most disgusting thing I have ever seen (said the Tarantino fan). We already knew Claire is immortal, thank you very much. And so, he doesn't eat the brains... well, you could have just told us, you know, Mr Kring! Oh man, I'm so going to dream about it tonight, I know it. =_=
Well, besides that, creepy-evil-Peter is one of the best things in the show ever! And since he didn't magically disappear after shooting Nathan I guess his future is going to stay, isn't it? Or maybe it's like in Back From The Future 2, where two different futures co-exist, but you can't jump back and forth? Maybe? Anyway, we really need him, now that Nathan has gone crazy. And what's with Linderman coming back? Alright, I thought his death scene was too rushed back then, but I never thought he could come back.
What's with Mohinder and Maya? Five minutes and he's already acting like a doofus. Is that her real special power? Making my favourite characters do things completely out of character? Oh well, if that's the price we have to pay to get SuperMohinder, we will. Super strength it is, then. I was hoping for something new, but I guess we only have eye beams left. Oh that, and Ando's kame-hame-ha. Hurry up, Hiro, Ando's already reached the second level of super Sayan, you're falling behind! XD
Thinking about it, I guess the Ando scene was there to show us that in the future everyone can become a superhero, so I think the secret formula is about how to synthesize that source thing that Mohinder got from Maya's blood. At least, it makes sense.
Still at 55% with the second episode, so I'll go to the market, hope it'll be over when I'm back home. Besides, I need some fresh air after such an adrenalinic episode! (pun intended, sadly)
