And now, for something completely different, we just had a blackout. Not only my house, but all the streetlamps and the traffic lights just turned off at the same time. It had already happened an year ago, after sunset too, and like that time it got pretty scary. I could hear car alarms going off, and I couldn't see anything. Until I remembered I had the Tenth Doctor's Sonic Screwdriver on the shelf right on top of my computer:



It was the geekiest thing ever, walking around a dark house following my sonic screwdriver's blue light so that I could find some clothes to put on in case I had to go outside. I put my X-Men necklace in the picture too because I realized I hadn't put it on my blog yet, and in those pictures in Rhodes where I was wearing it it's never visible. Anyway.

The lesson here is: always keep your sonic screwdriver close.
