I'm back for a few days! Highlights of the last few days:

* Tati and I finished the fifth season of Supernatural. That final episode still reaches the same abysmal level of heartbreaking everytime I watch it, alone or in company. So now it's time for a sixth season marathon, and then we'll see what to watch next. Maybe The Vampire Diaries?

* I'm halfway through The Book Of Lost Things, and it is amazing. Everything I love in a story, I can't put it down. I do hope it has a happy ending, because otherwise it would really break my heart. I feel so much for you, fictional characters! Even the communist dwarves! Especially them!

* I'm downloading lots of fanmixes at [livejournal.com profile] oldfriends and [livejournal.com profile] erik_charles. So many songs I didn't know, I love how fanmixes help me broad my horizons. Or even re-discover songs I've always loved, adding new meanings to them. Like this one, which is so Xavier/Magneto it's actually scary. (I chose an acoustic version because it was even more depressing this way. You're welcome.)

* My cellphone is slowly dying. I bought it five years ago, and lately the batteries last two days tops, even less if I make a couple of phonecalls. I have no idea what kind of cellphone to buy. I don't like the ones with incredibly tiny buttons, because with my nails (all covered in gel and glitter) they're impossible to use. I was thinking of buying an iPhone, because my aunt has one and it's really pretty. And then buy a pink cover and stroll around like the crazy fangirl I am and pretend I'm talking on the phone with Moriarty.

So, um, any suggestions?

Heh, no spoilers from me, but I'm glad you enjoy the book! Just promise me to never ever read what the author had to say about it, I was so disappointed in him as a person.

Then I won't! I happened to read some twitters from actors I like, and some of them didn't leave a good impression. It's better just to sit down and enjoy the book/movie/whatever. ^^"

Definitely! I think with books, it's just plain awesome when you don't know anything about the author. Makes it so much easier to immerse yourself in their story and get lost in their worlds, believing for a few hours that this fantasy really exists. ♥

I agree! Especially with such a book, that takes so much from folklore I know since I was a kid. It's like it's a real place I've known since forever. *____*
