Bad news, bad news for all you Kuroshitsuji fans. According to this source, the next anime season of Kuroshitsuji won't have Sebastian nor Ciel, but will feature two new characters.

The preview shown had the new butler "Claude Faustus" (クロード・フォースタス) serving tea for his master. He will be voiced by Takahiro Sakurai 櫻井孝宏. He called his young master "your highness", I didn't catch the name for the master but he will be voiced by Nana Mizuki 水樹奈々. There was no mention of any other characters but they did say it will air in July.

I really loved the first season, and the ending was perfect, why did they have to go and spoil everything? I'm definitely going to miss this one, and that's a shame, because it was the only anime series I was planning to watch this year. Without Sebastian and Ciel it just isn't Kuroshitsuji.

Ahh that stinks! I haven't watched the anime yet. I wanted to get up to date on the manga before I watched it. But this news annoys me nonetheless.

The anime has a completely different storyline from the manga, so I thought they were going for a FullMetal Alchemist-ish second season, and just re-do it going with the manga storyline this time. This is the worst scenario ever!

The manga is still one of the best I have read so far, so I'll just keep reading it and forget about the anime.

Io pensavo che si sarebbero lanciati alla FMA e avrebbero semplicemente rifatto il manga. A me questa idea sembra un suicidio, visto che il pubblico ama Sebastian, e non ha alcun senso Kuroshitsuji senza... il Kuroshitsuji! Folli!

I liked the first season a lot, even if the manga is way better. Yes, it seems pointless to me too, and quite crazy as well: they're going to lose their audience!

Cioè... Sono talmente indignata che non riesco a fare un commento decente.
Che senso ha illudere non so quanti fans parlando della seconda stagione e mettendo in mezzo altri due personaggi?
... Forse sarà un anime bellissimo, ma non chiamatelo Kuroshitsuji 2. E mi dispiace, ma io mi tengo cari Sebastian e Ciel!

Stessa mia reazione identica. L'anime era bello così com'era, aveva il suo splendido finale, punto. Non capisco perchè devono strizzare fuori sequel da qualsiasi cosa!
