On other news, I watched Aliens yesterday, and god, was that a great movie. Kept me drooling over Michael Biehn the whole time too. And Ripley is now my-favourite-scifi-character-of-all-time *insert embarassing fangirl squeeing here*. Now the question is: should I watch the third one? It has a very, very low rating on Imdb, and no sexy Kyle Reese Hicks in it, so is it really worth my time?

I don't think I've seen the third one, but as far as I know fans of the series regard it as good but depressing. Apparently the thing about the Alien films is that as stand alones they all have something to recoomend them, but they don't work together, so you might want to leave it a while before you watch it.
