Fifth entry!

Today's happy thing? A nice stroll, I bought myself a new book (Inkheart by Cornelia Funke), and I worked on my video some more. It's been a quiet day, sunny and warm, and it made me feel like the winter is finally coming to an end.

Per gli amici italiani, ormai avrete sentito che Eluana Englaro è morta oggi. Spero solo che questa sia la fine della disumana strumentalizzazione alla quale lei e la sua famiglia sono stati sottoposti negli ultimi tempi. Ora dovremmo preoccuparci dei poco velati tentativi di colpo di stato di quell'abietto figuro che è il nostro presidente del consiglio, piuttosto che infierire sul dramma di una famiglia già così provata.

You'll have to let me know about how the book is, I keep seeing previews for the movie and I can't decide whether I want to try it or not. ^^;

The book is really good, but from the looks of it I think the movie is going to be different, more adventure-ish, if you know what I mean. I get a Stardust vibe, that I'm going to love both the movie and the book even if they're really different. *__________*

Plus, it has Brandon Fraser in it. ;)

Sono indecisa se andare a vedere il film o no... Non so perché ma Inkheeart non mi ha mai attirato... Tu pensi che ne valga la pena, almeno per la storia? (Di differenze ce ne saranno, ma un minimo di attinenza dovrà averla!!)

Del "caso Englaro" non me la sento di parlare. Ormai stavano trattando la vita di una persona come argomento per fare audience. E come al solito, ne parleranno per una settimana, poi nessuno se ne ricorderà più.

Il libro è molto bello, dal trailer sembra che il film avrà un approccio più "avventuroso" alla trama, ma io sono ottimista al riguardo. ^^
