I'm waiting for my aunt to arrive in a couple of hours. I spent all the morning cleaning up, and getting her room ready (sort of...), after being horribly awaken by my cellphone playing Love Is All Around Me with the volume really cranked up. XD Today I should have gone to the hospital to get my exams results, but... well, I didn't feel like it, so I stayed home. Incredibly, I was rewarded, as my good-luck gift (from me to myself) for my cateract surgery arrived this morning: the Excel Saga Dvd Boxset! Hurrah! Never mind that they moved my cateract surgery to...march? After all I didn't know it when I ordered it. ;) The funniest thing about it is that it costed me just as much as the Dead Man's Chest dvd, only that this boxset contains five dvds, while the other one only two...

And on the shocking news front: just tell me it's a joke, 'kay?

It's hard to admit you're Catholic in today's world when this kind of stuff appears in the news all the time.

I wish someone would just make me the new pope already. This religion seriously needs it's gutters cleaned out.

The fact is, Catholics need another kind of Pope, a modern one, like Paul VI was. I still can't believe they made Ratzinger Pope, it was the worst option!

I don't care too much for the new pope myself. It's a lot like being represented by Ted "the internet is a series of tubes" Stevens. I wish they'd stop picking old people for big important jobs.

Besides, you can be Catholic and have a scientific mind, as my mom was, it's not that difficult!

I'm just not sure how humans and dinosaurs co-existing can even fit into the logic of the Bible. It's like now they're saying dinosaurs weren't put here by the devil, but carbon-dating is.

Heck, that whole theory about the human race being founded by extra-terrestrial Atlanteans is starting to make more and more sense every day.

As long as they're at it, why don't they say dinosaurs are dragons who refused to get in Noah's Ark, like they said three hundred years ago? That would make a lot more sense!

Refused to get in Noah's Ark? A big storm's coming and some old guy is offering predators a boatload full of food. I assure you, they would've not only gotten onto that boat, but the dinosaurs would've been the only ones to get off of it.

Beh, considera che mia mamma era medico e insegnante di scienze, grande appassionata della teoria dell'evoluzione, e allo stesso tempo Cattolica praticante.

Certo, magari era mia mamma a essere un pò diversa, era pro coppie gay, pro divorzio, a favore dell'aborto, e viveva con un ateo (il mio papi). ^^

ARIA The ANIMATION RAWs~

Hey, I hate to trespass on your LJ~ but I wasn't sure if you'd see your original request thread. I've managed to get 1-3 of the ARIA The ANIMATION RAWs you requested uploaded today, and I'm going to try and get the rest uploaded overnight/tomorrow for you ♥

The files are in this RAWs directory on my server (please right-click & save). The rest of the episodes will be uploaded there too but I'll probably come back and comment when they're up, too ^_^

They're all at 720x480 resolution, 23.976fps, encoded with 3viX at 100% and are soundless files. I'm hoping these are fine for you to use - I think the quality's pretty good, but feel free to clean the footage if you need to ^_^

Also - Excel Saga is awesome. You should never need a reason to buy Excel Saga. ;)

Haha, no problem ^_^ I'm really glad I can help! I managed to get 4-9 uploaded earlier, and now I'm working on uploading 10-13, too.. nearly there @_@!

An Excel Saga marathon sounds awesome XD I really need to rewatch it myself, it's been about 2 years since I last watched it. I might do that when I next get some free time :D
