help_syria, here's my signal boost: it's a fandom auction community for the UN’s appeal for Syria. To put it simply, writers, vidders, artists offer their works, and all money from bids goes to the UN to help Syria in these tragic times.
Similar communities in the past were very successful, and it's easy to see why: you make a donation to help, and get a wonderful gift in return. Win/win. ^^
