day one • a song
day two • a picture
day three • a book/ebook/fanfic
day four • a website
day five • a youtube clip
day six • a quote
day seven • whatever tickles your fancy
Today's website is Tv Tropes, a catalog of the tricks of the trade for writing fiction. We dip into the cauldron of story, whistle up a hearty spoonful and splosh it in front of you to devour to your heart's content. In other words, pick your favourite show and be warned, you'll be stuck there jumping from link to link until 2 am. Love this site. *__*
Speaking of which, this morning I finished Life On Mars. God, I *loved* it. The ending was unbelievable, so perfect. Funny thing is, I had that theory going around the second episode, then forgot about it, and then it turns out it was the right one. Kudos to the writers for throwing me completely off the tracks.
While still processing the ending, I started downloading Doctor Who (must have more John Simm now). I more or less know everything about it, since there are spoilers everywhere, but who cares. While it downloaded, I started watching Ashes to Ashes. Surprisingly, so far I'm loving it. I think it was a great idea to move on to 1981, so to make it feel fresh and new even when keeping some of the old characters. I'm also shipping Gene/Alex like there's no tomorrow. :D
I'm quite sleep-deprived now (watched most of these shows from 10 pm to 2 am), and yet I feel very energetic. Must be spring approaching, I guess. XD
