It's The Colour of Magic by Terry Pratchett. I only started reading it yesterday, so I'm still at the first chapter, but so far I'm loving it. It reminds me of how I felt when I first read Douglas Adams. :D

The music, the grainy 70-ish look, the amazing actors, John Simm, the crazy theories I keep coming up with, the clothes, John Simm, everything about it is perfect. *___*
