nausicaa83: (<dn angel> far away from here)
I love the XXX-Holic anime! The latest episode was simply awesome. I wish I had an mp3 of that piano music that plays while Watanuki is talking with the lady! And when he talked about his parents I got teary-eyed: this is so much my arc! ;_; I'll be really sad when this season is over...

Thanks, my dear [livejournal.com profile] lunalovegoddess for providing me with the song-they-played-at-the-funeral-in-Love-Actually! You're great! :****

If you hate me after what I say
Can't put it off any longer
Just gotta tell her anyway

Bye bye baby
Baby goodbye
Bye bye baby
Don't make me cry

You're the one girl in town I'd marry
Girl I'd marry you now if I were free
I wish it could be

I could love you but why begin it
'Cause there ain't any future in it
(She's got me but I'm not free so)

Bye bye baby
Baby goodbye
Bye bye baby
Don't make me cry

Wish I never had known you better
Wish I knew you before I met her
Gee how good it could be for me

Should have told her that I can't linger
There's a wedding ring on my finger
(She's got me but I'm not free so)

Bye bye baby
Baby goodbye
Bye bye baby
Don't make me cry

Bye baby baby bye bye
Bye baby baby bye bye
Baby bye bye (bye baby baby bye bye)
Baby bye bye (bye baby baby bye bye)
Baby bye bye (bye baby baby bye bye)
Baby bye bye (bye baby baby bye bye)

I tried to tidy up my manga shelf, but it's really getting too crowded. As on November I'll go with Tati to my very first Comic Convention (caaan't waaaaaiiiit), I'll try and sell something, as my complete Ayashi No Ceres (I need space for Berserk: sayonara, Ceres!). I do hope I'll find those volumes I still miss, as Nausicaa 1-2, and some CCS action figures (that would be the death of me!). I saw some publicity stills of four wonderful ones!

And guess what? First comicon --> first cosplay. Obviously, I'll go as TYOB!Subaru. And Tati as CCS!Sakura (with the school uniform). My, it's going to be embarassing. O_o I'll probably have to wear a "I'm Subaru-kun!" sign, so that people will know I'm in cosplay... XD

nausicaa83: (<tsubasa chronicle> only you)
Wednesday again, and first links for Tsubasa #129:

Translations, and a wonderful page! That expression is so heart-breaking, isn't it? The Clamp fangirl in me is dying a very happy death!

And now we just want our favourite hunter to appear! ;)

EDIT: Here for the chinese scans! Password is 'ducheng'. ^^

Cinema update!

At last I watched Inside Man, and I was really disappointed. The first part was so well directed, and the pace was perfect: never boring, never rushed. And so much Denzel Washington! *drools shamelessly over keyboard*. The ending, still, was rushed and pointless. I thought we were going to have a big turn of the tables, something like that, but in the end I could see everything coming, and there were really no explanations. Plain and clean. Such a pity!

Then tonight I watched Transamerica, and I loved it. True, I have a soft spot for on-the-road movies, but this one was really good. Felicity Huffman was awesome, and also Kevin Zegers's performance was top quality. And luckly it didn't feel so desperate as Priscilla (I still haven't seen Boys Don't Cry...). Rare thing, the relationships felt realistic, the dialogues were simple but really well made.

And now, on to the videos!

A funny Matrix video --> Less conversation... more Matrix action! - Penny, you're going to love this! Though it's amazing how much I had forgotten of Matrix 2 and 3. When I said I wanted to make my brain forget them, it actually worked! O_o

Neo Waiting for the Love Train - One of a series of funny vids about Neo waiting for the train, with the whistle music from Kill Bill, which is now permanently stuck in my head.

Wife Force One - It's true, Harrison Ford just keeps making the same movie over and over again. "My wife, my family, my wife, my family..." I think I'll have to kill him. No, wait, I already killed him because of Air Force One, my bad.

Smells Like Nirvana - Considering this is one of my favourite songs ever, this video made me spit milk all over the monitor. Must-see! ;)

Aaaaand, Sweet Transvestite, just because I can't get enough of this scene! :P

Now, back on working on my latest video project! ^^
