Just finished Pirates of Caribbean 2.

*clears throat*

WHAT'S THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN????!!!!! If it weren't for the very last scene, all the ending should be BURNED!!!! AAAARRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!

So, ehm, I think this summarizes pretty well what I think. Light up the torches!

But still, I liked the Voodoo Lady. And Norrington is pretty hot in this movie. And I loved the little Tarantino reference. And Jack is always Jack. BUT STILL!!!

Guess I'm not that romantic girl I thought. No, no.

I know! It's like - "what a great movie!" and then "WHAT THE HECK?!?!?" Methinks it came on a little too strong with the whole "gotta see Part 3 next summer" message. But I've justified what I've seen in the last ten seconds of the movie but reminding myself that I just watched a movie where Will's dad is still alive and serving on a crew full of magic fish monsters. Somehow, the ending makes more sense now.

Liked the comic - glad to see other people noticed the Monkey Island references.

Mmmmh, you're right. The magic fish monsters were a bit... too much. I prefered the Undying Crew of the first movie. But... a kiss?!!! Ugh! That's totally out of character!!!

And I still don't get it. Wasn't Barbossa dead? I mean, the other guys became human again, and then they escaped from prison, but he clearly died at the end of the movie. I don't get it. But I'm glad he's alive because he was my second favourite character after Captain Jack.

And I'm afraid we won't see a lot of Jack in the next movie, if they have to look for him. =_=

I didn't think the kiss was too out of character. She's a pirate at heart, so the temptation is always there. Still could've built up to it better though.

As for Barbossa, there's any number of reasons he's still alive. He was right next to a chest full of cursed gold when he died - all he'd have to do is summon enough strength to crawl over and grab a piece. Or maybe the voodoo lady brought him back. Or maybe his heart is on the right side of his body. It'll all be explained next summer.

And Jack is still supposed to have a lot of screen time in the sequel. From what I understand, he was captured, not killed. So he's probably going to have a lot of wacky misadventures trying to escape and maybe even encounter some real sea turtles.

I still hope he's going to use a rope of human hair to escape, though! XD

Beh, tieni le aspettative un pò basse, mi raccomando. L'inizio è lentuccio, la parte centrale è spassosa e avventurosa come piace a noi, e il finale smelassa alla grande. E purtroppo anche Jack smelassa! :'(

Jack is sexy. Does Johnny Depp never age! lol The one thing I couldn't get past was why is the monkey still undead?

Well, you have to watch the first movie again, and wait for a extra scene after the ending credits. You'll be surprised! ;)
