It's been a nice, quiet couple of days, although I had to skip therapy because of this dumb cold I just can't seem to shake. First it got my throat, and now my ears feel funny. If by monday I don't feel better I'll have to check in with my doctor.
In fandom news, I just finished watching the third Puella Magi Madoka Magica movie, Rebellion, because I finally found a BR copy, and it was brilliant. I absolutely loved it. There was a lot of crying on my part too, but that's definitely not a surprise.
I'm writing from my laptop because after seven years my home computer, the one with windows xp and all, had to retire, and I ordered a new one. It should arrive early next week, and it'll also have windows 8 installed. The weirdest part was spending the weekend browsing through seven years of folders and deciding what to save and what to delete. There was a lot of stuff in there I had forgotten about! It took me a lot of time to comb through my emails too, and I ended up saving one hundred and something of them. I don't even know if I'll ever re-read them, but it's nice knowing they're not lost forever.
And now I'm going to drink a cup of hot herbal tea with honey, it's the one thing that does wonders for my sore throat.
