This Supernatural season is so bad for my pressure. Also awesome. But seriously, after that third episode I need a cup of tea to calm my nerves. A good summary of my viewing experience would be "nooooooooo - fuck this - WHAT - noooooooo - you go Clarence! - NOOOOOOOO - what the what - FUCK NO!".

Also I need a Zeke icon. And I love how they're keeping with season 8's trend of moving the plot forward with every new episode, with no filler episodes. Bad for my pressure, true, but it makes for a much more enjoyable viewing experience. *_____* And is it me or did Castiel's puppy eyes reach new levels of epicness?

Bon, corro a scaricare! *_____*

Appena finito di vedere, review a caldo! *____*

Dear Ms Nausicaa,

I am writing to you in response to your query about Castiel's puppy eyes reaching new level of epicness. I can confirm for you that Castiel's eyes have, in fact, reached a new level of epicness. As of this week they are officially marginally below the top level of epicness, recognized as Sam Winchester's puppy eyes of doom. (See below.)

 photo tumblr_m4r3avm6rj1qk8t2to1_500_zps03afa669.gif

Should you experience any disappointment by the current rating, please be advised that the operative word is 'marginally' and take into consideration that Sam Winchester does have the advantage of twenty-five years of practice.

I hope this answers your query. If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to contact us.

Best regards, etc.

My first thought during the episode was that April was going to either die or be evil, and thus Castiel had obviously inherited Sam's cursed dick powers. At the last scene I realized my mistake, Castiel had been studying another one of Sam's epic powers, the Epic Puppy Eyes of Doom. Their combined efforts will make Dean self-combust in the next episode, I'm afraid.

Haha, all true. What do you know? There was no 'either': April was evil and she died. (Meg anyone?) Then there were the Puppy Eyes of Doom, too...You're right about the studying; Cas has obviously not waited for Sam to start being his teacher but taken matters into his own hands.:D

Poor Dean, though.*hugs him*

And Dean not knowing who Clarence is? I wasn't expecting that!!! I want to see a scene with Dean watching It's A Wonderful Life and crying his eyes out! ♥

Oh, goodness, it'll make me CRY with how much I want to see that scene on-screen. *fantasises of total world domination when she brings world peace and then films OGAM*

I loooooved this episode, yay!! Loved having a Cas-centric episode, they did an awesome job! Misha is great, being SO, SO Castiel-like while fundamentally changed, too. All the experiences, all the faces, all the drama, aaaaghhhh!

Then we have the angel!Sam line and it's pretty strong, yep! Do you know, I genuinely stop seeing Sam every single freaking time the blue eyes come on! Jared is blowing my mind with those transformations exactly through this - I don't 'notice' he's changed lanes and is acting as someone else. I am watching and I KNOW it's not Sam without THINKING that I know it's not Sam. It's pretty impressive, because, er...it's me and it's Sammy!

I don't even know with Dean anymore.♥

Oh boy, Jared playing Zeke is mindblowing. And Dean is such a terrible liar. He's been lucky so far that both Sam and Cas are easily distracted, but that's not going to last long. Plus he really, really sucks at lying. It was both hilarious and worrying. I feel conflicted, because I hate the idea of Sammy being possessed, but seeing him all happy and healthy, it's like they took every single wish in my head from last season and made it real! Plus Zeke obviously is hiding something, but at least his beef seems to be with Bart, enemy of my enemy and so on.

I was telling Tati earlier I cannot wrap my mind around that last scene. I can understand Dean's reasons there, obviously, but there's no way in hell Sammy would ever let him kick Castiel out. I can only see them sending Castiel to Garth, where he could be safer. But Sam would never put Cas in any danger, so I really wonder how they're going to play that one. Besides the Garth card, I can't see any other outcome.

And how adorable was that scene with Dean and Sam being big bros and congratulating Cas on having sex? I was rolling on the floor. He had his angel blade indeed! XD

That last scene was hilarious! My jaw was hurting from grinning. I think I loved the most Sam's little sound after the whole protection thing. Like it's a sound of 'muh-ugh' of sort - I snorted. And Dean's reactions were priceless, but then they always are.:D

One of my first thoughts at the end was 'Oh, I am looking forward to finding out where Castiel went and how Dean explained to Sam why Cas would have to go.' Because like you say, Sammy won't just let that happen, no questions asked, no opposition. But beyond that - this is Dean and this is Cas. It would take some pretty serious convincing for Sam to believe that his brother is willing to send Cas away.

Gosh, I, too, love seeing Sam being happier and healthier than in a long while. Jared's doing a great job with that as well: Sam is smiling like ALL THE TIME, it seems; it really hit home how long ago in the seasons he used to smile so often. He looks at Dean properly and he actually registers his lame words, whether it's about pie or about the wisdom of this world such as 'It's ain't all burritos and strippers'. I don't even want to think about all the angst that's waiting for him.*wobbly bottom lip* Like I told you about OGAM, I was faithful to canon: whatever beam of sunshine Sammy has in his life, it is there with the sole purpose of making him feel misery even more keenly afterwards.

Another thing I absolutely loved was how Jensen acted in that scene when Castiel gets killed and then healed. He's glued to the spot. His brother is hurt, unconscious on the floor, and Dean doesn't know who to run to. While that moment is heartbreaking, I also found it very beautiful in terms of character development. Dean would lay down his own life for Castiel, sure, but this was Sam's life, and this time he didn't know, on instinct, who to check first. It's a huge step ahead in terms of how he defines his family, his universe has gotten bigger. Last season he told Castiel he needed him, because he needed someone to help with his brother, and that was HUGE, sharing that responsability, the responsability that in his mind defines who he is, with someone else. And now he even put Castiel on the same level as Sam. That's why that last scene hurts so freaking much.

And I have to admit, the one thing that scares me the most this season is imagining Sam's reaction upon learning the truth. Either Zeke pulls a Benny, and he's an awesome Freedom Fighter working on some elaborate plan of his own to keep the angels off the earth, and this way Sam could forgive him and decide to work alongside him, or it's going to be one immense, terrible downfall between the two brothers. *shudders*

Daje a Zekeeeee! Lo stronzo ti sta manipolando! ;_____;
Grrrrrr!

;__;
