I just found out there's a fantastic esthetician 30 seconds from my house. She set shop inside an hairdresser's, that's why I had no idea she was there. Today I went for a pedicure (I have 99 problems with my feet, and they're all painful), and we talked a lot, and she's awesome and really, really good at her job. Now my toenails are purple and pretty and my feet are all soft and nothing hurts, it's great.

I should probably write a post about a woman's relationship with her body after breast cancer, and how estethicians help a lot with feeling at ease with one's body, instead of that weird disconnection between "you" and "your body that's trying to kill you", but that would take me a lot of time and right now I just want to wiggle my toes and giggle for a while. I feel pretty, oh so pretty. ♥

Per anni mi sono arrangiata da sola, ma avevo sempre problemi di unghie incarnite che si infettavano ogni due giorni, e alla fine mia zia mi ha trascinato per i capelli, ed è stata una meraviglia. Te le sistemano completamente, è un altro universo dal semplice tagliarsele con la forbicina sul bordo del lettone.

Poi non è che io abbia 'sti piedi bellissimi, somigliano molto a quelli di Sherlock, sono fettoni da uomo con il collo alto e le caviglie spesse, per cui ballerine e scarpettine mi stanno da cani. :D

Anch'io ho il collo alto, le caviglie grosse e gonfie e i piedi troppo piccoli per la mia stazza, così faccio una fatica boia a trovare delle scarpe decenti. Meno male che esistono le scarpe da ginnastica, così le regolo come mi pare! ;)

E la Valleverde con i plantari anche nelle scarpe carine! Ma la gente come fa a camminare senza? Mi fa male la schiena solo a pensarci!
