nausicaa83Obligatory entry for Doctor Who's season finale, as usual spoiler-free, because River is my spirit animal. Five minutes in I thought "this is going to be scary as hell, I shouldn't have watched it just before going to bed". After that, I cried and sniffled and plain out sobbed the whole way through. I shouldn't have watched it just before bed.
What can I say? I didn't like the first episode, but the four episodes after that were great. I was a bit worried about having River back, because as much as I love her I don't really like her recent interactions with the Doctor, but I thought she was brilliant in this episode. And the Ponds were great. That last scene is going to haunt me and make me start crying in public places for weeks to come, I just know it.
