Aggiornamento breve e poco coerente, ma ho appena passato tre ore e mezza a leggere l'ultimo libro di Licia Troisi, Gli Ultimi Eroi. Splendido. Commovente. Epico. Un finale perfetto alla saga del Mondo Emerso.

E ora vado a svenire in un angolo.

Shion, her mom and I went to Mantua, a beautiful medieval city in Northern Italy to visit an art exhibition, "Nel Mondo Del Fantastico", with works by Paolo Barbieri, our favourite Italian artist. It was a beautiful sunny day, we had lots of fun, and we even got to take our picture with Barbieri himself, and with Licia Troisi, my favourite Italian writer. A dream come true!

On Kingdom Hearts news, I just met Lea and Isa at Radiant Garden, and I'm still teary-eyed. I love these characters so much it hurts! And I'm so, so intrigued by this story, I literally can't put the PSP down, I just want to know more.

Yesterday we did a whole hour of new weird pilates-ish exercises at the gym. That means, today I feel like somebody punched me in the belly all night long. Luckly yesterday everybody looked devastated, so I don't think we'll do them again. I'm happy it's not my back, though.

This morning I went to the book store and bought all the books in the House Of Night series by P.C. and Kristin Cast. I read the first one a week ago and I loved it, so here I am ready to know what's going to happen next. It's no Anne Rice, but it's a very intriguing story. *_____*

E parlando di libri, oggi è uscito La Ragazza Drago III di Licia Troisi. Acquistato e già divorato, è senza dubbio il migliore della serie. Emozionante, commovente, mi ha preso moltissimo! Peccato che tocchi aspettare un altro anno per il prossimo libro della serie, io qui muoio di curiosità!

Alla Feltrinelli devono essersi confusi, perchè il nuovo libro di Licia era già sugli scaffali stamattina, così ho potuto accaparrarmi la mia copia.

Recensione breve perchè voglio evitare spoiler.

Ciò che più mi ha colpito è la maturità della storia. Ad ogni libro che leggo, ammiro sempre di più quest'autrice. Il personaggio di Adhara ha avuto molte difficoltà a piacermi all'inizio (a differenza di Dubhe, o della mia adorata Nihal), e anche nella prima parte di questo secondo libro avrei voluto tirarle i capelli un paio di volte. Una volta entrata nella storia, però, mi ha completamente stregato, e l'ultima parte mi ha commosso, emozionato e lasciato senza parole. E' un libro di transizione, in cui gli eventi sono pochi e ci si focalizza molto sui personaggi: tutti i protagonisti compiono il loro percorso emotivo, e alla fine del libro hanno raggiunto la propria posizione sulla scacchiera. Sarà un anno lunghissimo questo che ci separa dalla conclusione di questo ciclo, ma ne varrà la pena.

L'unica piccola lamentela: avrei voluto vedere qualche scena in più con Ahmal, ma qui è la mia natura di fangirl a parlare. ;)

It's June at last! Luckly today is not as hot as last week, and there's a fresh wind blowing. I woke up really early, did the laundry and did some gardening. I'm a bit clumsy today, as yesterday I wore sandals for the first time this year, and obviously at the end of the day my feet were bleeding and hurting like hell. Today they feel better, but I still can't walk without limping, so I'm trying to avoid walking in the first place, let's hope they'll heal fast. The weather is so nice, I'd love to take a stroll! *______*

And yesterday my Angel Sanctuary artbook arrived! So beautiful! It's been months since I last bought an artbook, I love how the pages smell. Must be the ink, I don't know, but it's really good. ^^

We also had our last choir rehersal before the summer holidays, I know I'm going to miss singing. I already have Christmas carols dancing in my head. :D

Ho anche finito le Guerre del Mondo Emerso, e letto la Ragazza Drago. Licia Troisi si conferma una delle mie autrici preferite, un inchino a lei! Spero che il prossimo libro esca prestissimo, intanto mi iscriverò alla sua newsletter. ^^
