Movie update! Today I finally watched Over The Hedge: I saw the trailer a couple of months ago, and I thought it looked like a funny movie, but I was so wrong. Besides being boring like hell, it was sooo predictable. I can't believe they spent three years making such a boring and useless movie! =_= The only funny character was the squirrel, and it was copied and pasted from Hoodwinked. That was quite a stupid movie too, but that's not the point. ;) I also saw Scrooged for the very first time, and I liked it. Well, most of all I liked Bill Murray in it. ^^ What I didn't get is how he suddenly becomes a good guy after meeting the Ghost of Christmas Future. I've read the novel a billion times, and I remember that Scrooge starts changing after meeting the first ghost, and after the second ghost leaves he's already a good guy. The third ghost only gives him the feeling he can have a second chance, as he's not dead yet he still can do something about his life. But in this movie he keeps being the same ol' bastard even after meeting the second ghost (who was my favourite one, by the way: look! A toaster!), and after being almost burned alive by the third ghost he simply gets scared. So, the character development seemed a little off, but other than that I liked it a lot.

Ho anche avuto il fegato di provare a vedere Notte prima degli esami. Deve essere stato un momento di follia, perchè, santo dio, è persino peggiore di quanto mi aspettassi. Come recitano... neanche al livello da recita scolastica! La sceneggiatura è penosa, la storia prevedibilissima... unica nota positiva, per cui non l'ho mollato dopo 5 minuti, è la colonna sonora. Essendo ambientato nell'89, mi sono goduta tutta una serie di classici anni '80, che bello! Soprattutto un'intera sequenza con Don't Stop Me Now dei Queen! \o/

And yesterday I also noticed how I mistook the band Cabaret Voltaire for the singer Voltaire. Man, I have to tidy up my music folder on my hard-drive, that's beyond embarassing...

Missi lost a fang in the ladies room
And we all laughed and called her 'Snaggletooth!"
And Dee was mad cause he broke his cane
And he flushed his contacts down the drain
There was so much angst after the fight
Vlad and Akasha broke up that night
While some rivet-heads danced in a puddle of goo
That used to be "Father" you-know-who!

Well, it's hard to believe but we're still around
And when we hang out it's upside down
Dressed in black from toe to head singing,
"Bela Lugosi's still undead!"
A gaggle of goths is a peaceful site
We'd do anything to avoid a fight
But if you really want to see some gore and blood
Wait 'til the Ravers come to the Vampire Club

Oh, god, the house is a mess... and I have a friend coming for dinner... in twenty minutes. *panics* I started feeling better in the afternoon, so I had a shower and rushed outside to the market. The funny thing is how Sakura, everytime I take a shower, waits for me out of the bathroom door, then sits on my lap and starts licking me, as if she wanted to clean me. It always makes me giggle like an idiot, I suppose she doesn't like this bubble bath's perfume... XD

Totally random, did anyone else notice that the woman crying in Tsubasa #136 is Shara, Rasetsu's wife, from RG Veda? I'm glad they put her too, she's one of my favourite minor characters from RG Veda. ^^

Alright, back to running around in panic.

We already have Tsubasa #136 scans! Finally we have some explanations, even if I want to go on calling Infinity "Fanservice World". :P It was pretty obvious the reason why Sakura would want to go on finding the feathers, the big surprise was all that dialogue about Eagle's family *suppresses laughters*, and some hints about Fay's fighting abilities. This chapter also feels like a big deja-vu of the Matrix. O_o

I'm still feeling down and out, but today I have a few things to do I can't postpone, so no chance I can spend the day in bed hugging my hot-water bottle. Sigh.
