Weirdest week ever, and it keeps getting weirder. First, I lost my hospital card. It's a card everyone has in Italy, with your personal code to use in hospitals, the name of your doctor, and everything. And. I. Lost. It. I looked everywhere, every drawer, every bag, and then it was on the manga bookshelf, just above my desk. Took me 6 hours to find it. Then, we had another lightning storm, and it cut off the power again, but this time I was asleep, so I only noticed when I woke up. At least I knew how to fix it, after the other day's accident.

Last but not least, today the phone stopped working, and the internet too. I looked everywhere for the assistance number, called my friends with my mobile, and before they could call me back I finally remembered the number. Then, a nice automatic voice told me there was a problem with the phone line in my neighbourhood and they were working on it. Three hours later, it was fixed.

I don't care if it's the internet, but the idea of being without a phone line, and having to rely on my mobile, scares me a lot. It makes me feel like I'm cut off from the rest of the world, a little island floating in the dark.

Then, I watched the latest episode of Ashes to Ashes, and got *really* traumatised by it. Man, I hope we get a happy ending, but from the looks of it it's going be one really angsty finale. Spent all the episode looking through my fingers, gasping every two seconds, don't know what I'll do when the ending comes. ^^"

Surprisingly, yesterday at the gym I didn't collapse halfway. Actually, I managed to do all the exercises, no shortness of breath, nothing. Maybe, just maybe, all these months of gym are finally paying off!

Today is been such a gloomy, rainy day. I know the planet needs rain and everything, but it's so dark it looks like November outside! And I want to start wearing my cute spring skirts, instead I'm stuck wearing jeans. Looks like winter just doesn't want to go away.

On fandom news, I finally watched the latest episode of Ashes to Ashes, and my brain is still processing it. Only three episodes left, and still so many questions! And the stars... and the truth scene! God, this show is killing me! I must know!

Rock Band fun fact: hardest song to play on medium? Roy Orbison's Pretty Woman! I swear, I got almost kicked off the stage! Damn song... this morning I downloaded a bunch of them, including Town Called Malice, but that one got me sweating more than all the others combined. O_O

Yesterday we had a great Rock Band jamming session. It was also Supernatural night, and pizza night, so best way ever to spend friday night. It's amazing how funnier it is when it's three instruments instead of one, when somebody makes a mistake then everybody follows and it gets really wild. By the end of the night we were getting really good at it, and we got tons of points at AC/DC's Let There Be Rock. And it was the end of the night, because we collapsed after 1 am. That game is too addictive, you just lose track of the time.

No photos because I kinda forgot, so maybe next time when it's four of us. Our singer was at choir practice (no kidding), can't wait to have the entire band here. :D

On other news, Ashes to Ashes jumped on the Gene/Sam wagon, y/y? Can't believe they actually wrote something like that in canon! It's the hardest I've laughed all week. XD I'm going to be so sad when this show is over.

Speaking of which, I just got my Supernatural blu ray boxsets! They are so pretty, you can see every detail, and it's all so bright! I'm never going to get used to this kind of quality, I swear. Castiel's eyes are just *so* blue! Can't wait for the summer when I'll get the first and fifth seasons as well, I'm going to re-watch The End until the playstation shuts itself off from exhaustion!

This third season of Ashes to Ashes is just so amazing! I have literally no idea where we are going from here, and everytime we hear Life On Mars I get goosebumps, and I'm sure the ending is going to break my heart.

And the kiss on the cheek scene? Sweetest thing ever!

Got all the pictures on my computer, now I have to wait for my cousin to send me hers, and I can start working on that Egypt post. Mostly it'll be cutting all the pics where I have a funny face or something like that. Ehm ehm.

On other news, Ashes to Ashes is the best thing ever, and these two new episodes literally blew my mind. Not to mention this:

This goes straight to my "Maybe God is real after all" list.

About real, boring life, the cold I had in Egypt degenerated, and now I have a bad cough. Just so you know, I haven't had any kind of cough since 1998, so it's pretty stressful. I bought some syrup, let's see if it works. At least it tastes good. ^^

Just in time before I leave for a long-awaited trip to my aunt's place. :D

Have I mentioned how much I love Amazon.co.uk lately? Dvds are so cheap, and they get here in three days!

I'm in a hurry again, it's a pretty busy afternoon: first I'll buy the train ticket for saturday (I'm going to see my family! Yuppie!!!), then quick stop at my lawyer's office to sign some papers, then to the gym, then quick dinner before Tati gets here so that we can watch Lost together.

day one • a song
day two • a picture
day three • a book/ebook/fanfic
day four • a website
day five • a youtube clip
day six • a quote
day seven • whatever tickles your fancy

Today's website is Tv Tropes, a catalog of the tricks of the trade for writing fiction. We dip into the cauldron of story, whistle up a hearty spoonful and splosh it in front of you to devour to your heart's content. In other words, pick your favourite show and be warned, you'll be stuck there jumping from link to link until 2 am. Love this site. *__*

Speaking of which, this morning I finished Life On Mars. God, I *loved* it. The ending was unbelievable, so perfect. Funny thing is, I had that theory going around the second episode, then forgot about it, and then it turns out it was the right one. Kudos to the writers for throwing me completely off the tracks.

While still processing the ending, I started downloading Doctor Who (must have more John Simm now). I more or less know everything about it, since there are spoilers everywhere, but who cares. While it downloaded, I started watching Ashes to Ashes. Surprisingly, so far I'm loving it. I think it was a great idea to move on to 1981, so to make it feel fresh and new even when keeping some of the old characters. I'm also shipping Gene/Alex like there's no tomorrow. :D

I'm quite sleep-deprived now (watched most of these shows from 10 pm to 2 am), and yet I feel very energetic. Must be spring approaching, I guess. XD
