.: so comes snow after fire :.

It's June at last! Luckly today is not as hot as last week, and there's a fresh wind blowing. I woke up really early, did the laundry and did some gardening. I'm a bit clumsy today, as yesterday I wore sandals for the first time this year, and obviously at the end of the day my feet were bleeding and hurting like hell. Today they feel better, but I still can't walk without limping, so I'm trying to avoid walking in the first place, let's hope they'll heal fast. The weather is so nice, I'd love to take a stroll! *______*

And yesterday my Angel Sanctuary artbook arrived! So beautiful! It's been months since I last bought an artbook, I love how the pages smell. Must be the ink, I don't know, but it's really good. ^^

We also had our last choir rehersal before the summer holidays, I know I'm going to miss singing. I already have Christmas carols dancing in my head. :D

Ho anche finito le Guerre del Mondo Emerso, e letto la Ragazza Drago. Licia Troisi si conferma una delle mie autrici preferite, un inchino a lei! Spero che il prossimo libro esca prestissimo, intanto mi iscriverò alla sua newsletter. ^^

News: my first concert was amazing, but when we got up to sing I had so much adrenaline in my blood I couldn't even walk straight. Luckly I remembered all my part and made no mistakes, but man, my heartbeat was so fast it felt like a buzzing noise in my ears. XD

I'm also finishing Okami: I got 11 constellations, and just got at Oni Island. As a Naruto fan, I can't wait to fight the Demon Fox. :D

Finally, a much more "relaxed" day, gone shopping with Tati, and then choir rehearsals. We are working on a new song for a concert in April, and it's one of my favourites ever! I was so happy I came back home singing it out loud. :D The song is You Raise Me Up, it's just so beautiful, and singing it as a choir is even better. *_________*

Today I bought a new mouse, a wireless one, and I'm still getting used to it. It's way faster than my old one, and I've had that one for ten years, so it's really hard. ^^" Aaaand, I've bought Final Fantasy XII, so no spoilers please! I want to learn how to play a Final Fantasy game, so that I'll be ready when Final Fantasy XIII and Versus XIII hit the stores. ;)

IT WAS AMAZING. We were great, and every song was perfect. God, that was one of the best experiences ever. \o/ And our Carol of the Bells was too awesome for words.

It's 2am, and at 9am I have another mass, so I have to run and get some sleep. Merry merry Christmas to all of you again!

I'm back from my first Christmas concert! It's the one I told you we were going to do on the streets, carrying a candle, and walking around. We walked a lot, and it was so cold I was freezing, but it was one of the best experiences I ever had! We sang all the oldies, some in italian, some in latin and some in english. One of the best moments was when we started singing Crazy Little Thing Called Love while walking because there was nobody around, and suddenly we ran into a little kid with her mom, and we stopped and started singing Come All Ye Faithful just for them. :D

Tomorrow we'll have our last rehearsal, and then we'll have the big concerts on Christmas day. ^^

Real life news: I'm done with the ironing! It was tiring, but I'm really proud of myself, it was lots of stuff (mostly sheets), but at last everything is clean and back to the closet. ^^ And I also have someone I can give my kitchen furniture to when the new furniture arrives. It's probably going to be around february, I can't wait.

The big news anyway is that on December 21st with my choir we're going to walk around the city all afternoon, carrying candles and a statue of baby Jesus singing Christmas carols. It's a tradition of this church (and all the community), and I'm so happy I can be part of it! We'll also bring hot chocolate and tea for everyone we'll meet, it'll be the most christmas-ish thing I've ever done in years. ^^

macpenguin came here to see Venice, so I've been busy showing him around. We got some high water too, but luckly next week is going to be a sunny one. ^^

Back at my choir, we're hard working with all the Christmas songs we're doing: we added to the list a beautiful Gloria In Excelsis, Brahm's Lullaby and Happy XMas (yes, the Lennon one: I can't wait to sing it in a church :P ). I'm making new frìends, and I haven't seen the crazy stalker in a while, so all is well with the world.

Besides that, I'm still having crazy dreams about the latest episode of Heroes. :D That was one awesome episode, and I can't wait for the next one. Good job, Tim Kring. \o/ And as soon as this season is over, I want to check out Pushing Daisies as well. Not to mention I want to watch at least one season of Doctor Who. Maybe I should start downloading them now. ^^

And as everyone else, I still have no ideas about christmas gifts. ^^"
