nausicaa83Hello, movie of the month. I finally got around to watch Kick-Ass. I had it on my list for a while, as I had read some great reviews and I thought the story was intriguing. And I *loved* it. It was just as exciting as seeing Sin City for the first time, and so colourful, and crazy. One minute I was laughing, and the other I was crying like a big crybaby. I loved all the characters, even if I have a huge soft spot for Hit Girl. And surprise surprise, this is the first movie where I liked Nicolas Cage. The Apocalypse is upon us.
I already ordered the blu-ray from Amazon, can't wait to watch it in glorious HD. Only bad thing about this movie? It made me want to watch that Let The Right One In remake, just because of Chloe Moretz, she's that amazing. I'll probably just skip to her scenes and ignore the rest.
Anyway, great, great movie. Probably not everyone's cup of tea, but in my opinion one of the best superhero movies out there.
