I just saw Kill Bill 1, at last. I wasn't that much intersted, but as it's one of Penny's favourite movies, I wanted to see it. Now, I'm a bit confused whether I liked it or not. The one thing I truly adored was Uma Thurman, she was amazing in every scene, and you could clearly see Tarantino knew it, as all the movie looks like it was made just to have her on screen. But I can't say I truly understood the meaning of this movie. I mean, I almost laughed all the time. Was it a joke? I mean, just to make fun of lots of b-movies, anime, and kung fu movies? Then it was funny, lots of pulp sequences, and the music on top. I don't know what was funnier, that little theme that plays everytime she sees a enemy and remembers how they tried to murder her, or Sophie's mobile phone playing Auld Lang Syne! XD Severed heads, blood splitting, and that scene when she's spinning on the floor and cutting legs, I was giggling all the time! But, sometimes I wondered if it was serious. I can't believe it! I mean, we have the "Deadly Viper Assassination Squad"! Do they have a jingle theme too? And Elle with the nurse-eyepatch? And the bad guys wearing black masks, for god's sake! No, it must have been just a tribute to pulp movies... anyway, I found it pretty boring toward the end, visually intersting but dragging along the story. I hope the second part will be better, as we'll see more of the story, I guess, and less long fighting sequences. I guess I'll see it just because of Uma, anyway. And I want to see her kicking Bill's ass! XD

Boy, that was real fun. Perfect song in some kinda perverted way... XD
