nausicaa83And livejournal is finally back! It always happens when my favourite fics update, oh yes it does.
Anyway! Busy day, we had to take Sakura to the vet to get her annual shots, and it's always quite a traumatic experience for her. There was a new vet, as the usual one was on holiday, and he was SO CUTE. So cute I couldn't really understand what he was saying, so I had to look everywhere but his eyes to try and concentrate, but it was no easy task because damn. Such beautiful eyes. This is the best way to start a week. *____*
Yesterday we went to see the last Harry Potter movie. Nice, but it confirmed what I felt about the other movies as well. With the exception of the third one, they all feel like rushed versions of the books, like they put the most important scenes one next to the other without really focusing on character development, or commenting what's happening. People die everywhere, but hey we need to move on to the next scene, we don't really have time to show our main characters reacting to that. In short, it always feels like they did the movies for those who read the books, and didn't really care if they worked on their own, like the Lord of the Rings movies do.
My cousin is going to enroll at the University of Turin in a month, so we spent some time browsing through my old university books. It felt so weird, like it was from another life and yet just the day before yesterday. I told her how I felt at my first exam, and suddenly everything was so... fresh and raw and exciting, like I was 19 again.
