Has someone else been attacked by spammers too? The last few days I found lots of useless comments from spammers, some in cyrillic as well. Seriously, people. It's like those viagra mails I keep recieving, completely useless!

So now only registered users can comment on my lj. It sucks, because what I like about a blog is that everyone can stop by and drop me a line. I just can't spend all that time deleting random comments.

On other news, my aunt is coming to visit on 28th March. This is usually great news, but this time I had to invite another relative over. It's a cousin of my aunt, and we don't get along at all, but she suddenly wanted to come over and see mom, and it's not like I could refuse. And my aunt promised she'll take care of her and I won't have to suffer through any long conversations. That is, because this woman is a church fanatic, I kid you not, and everytime she calls she tries to save my soul and stuff, and it's the most annoying thing ever.

Da quel che ho capito resta solo un paio di giorni, quindi ho un mese e mezzo per lavorare sulla mia pace interiore, imparare a controllare i nervi e mordermi la lingua.

Aiuto!!!

I've been having a few spam posts on LJ lately. I had it happen a wee while back as well and since then I've had to set my comments to registered users as well :(

I hate when people try to convert you >_< I'm an atheist but have a lot of religious friends and we have enough respect for each other not to even mention religion in certain ways. We may talk about the stories, about accepting others regardless of their beliefs, but stay away from any topics that would cause arguments. If we want to talk about things in that way, we have other friends who share the same beliefs to do so with. Have my fingers crossed that she'll be respectful.

I hardly doubt it. First, she's 60, so she has that stubborness that comes with age. And second, she thinks I'll burn in hell, so she's quite... how can I put it? Lively, when it comes to atheism.

My aunt, my mom and my sis were/are all pretty religious. I only had one serious fight with my mom about it. My aunt is very respectful, and I think my beliefs make her a little sad, but she never tried to change my mind.

I always joke that coming out as a lesbian instead of an atheist would have been a lot easier with my family.
