nausicaa83: (<assassin's creed> jump!)

I just finished Assassin's Creed 2. Holy crap, that was some mindblowing ending. But the question is, how old is Ezio now? At the end of the Bonfire of Vanities he says it's been 22 years since his dad died. Does that mean he's like, 40?

And yes, that's my great question, because the ending was so cryptic I'll wait for Brotherhood to start asking questions about that. Man, it was so creepy when she started talking to the screen. Breaking the fourth wall as a new level of creepiness.

I still find it highly amusing that the Bonfire of Vanities part was ten times harder than the ending in Rome. That's some DLC. Even with all the swearing at the tv, it was still worth it even only for Machiavelli. He was great, and his Italian voice was so perfect. *__*

Gah, I remember the when I finished ACII, it was the middle of the night and I was home alone with all the lights off. Creepiest thing ever. And not to spoil anything, but Brotherhood's ending is equally crazy.

Ezio was born in 1459, so he's 17 at the start of the game and 40 when he goes to the Vatican.

Also, Machiavelli is back in Brotherhood as well, along with Leonardo, La Volpe and Bartolomeo. I hope you enjoy it!

Oh, and I also watched some clips with the english dubbing, and I was dying laughing. Some of the extras are italians, you can hear it, but what I find amusing is how every bad guy speaks with an accent. Since Ezio is Italian, shouldn't everyone talk in english or talk with an accent, him included? Besides, I find that kind of italian accent incredibly hilarious. XD

He's 17 at the beginning of the game? My oh my, he looked at least 23 to me. O_O Jailbait!

I'm so happy Leonardo is back! I just had the time to see he lived at Villa Auditore now, and then he disappeared. And hurrah for La Volpe! Is Antonio back as well? He had such a great dubber, I kept drooling everytime he was on screen. *____*

I take that back, I saw some other clips, and Ezio talks with an accent too. And the way they keep using random italian words for no reason is hilarious. XDDDDDDDDDDDD

I still don't get why they need to talk like a Godfather movie, but it's too funny to complain about it. XD

Yeah, forgive us Canadians for our bad Italian accents. We tried. XD Most of the Italian phrases in the English dub are insults and curses. I guess the censor didn't care if all the swearing was in Italian. XD

Antonio and the Venetian thieves don't make another appearance, unfortunately. But the new villain is something special...

The funniest thing is, since they dubbed everything the closest they could to the original source, in the italian version they talk really dirty. Especially Rosa, the Venetian girl. God help me, she was making my ears bleed. XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

And totally off-topic, sorry for the dumb question, but are you coming to Venice too? Or is it only your parents?

Yeah, Rosa's just as bad in English as well. I'm sad that she and Antonio weren't in Brotherhood.

It's me and my sister that are planning to go to Venice. She's going to come live with me in London after Christmas Break so we thought it would be a good chance to see Venice during Carnivale. :D

Holy crap, I got it all wrong! Then, if you'd like to, I can be your guide! I can show you around, and we can have lunch in my favourite restaurant (and wear masks, and make fun of other tourists).

Since I thought it was going to be your parents, and I swear I don't know where I got that idea from, I was feeling too shy to offer myself as a guide. XD

Really? That would be great! I hear the city's very convoluted and my Italian skills are pretty minimal. I do have a mask though! XD
