Just got back from my two-day-long trip to the mountains, to find that one of my favourite directors, Satoshi Kon, died yesterday. That's such terrible, terrible news. It's an immense loss. ;_;

Cancer, and he was only 46. His last movie is complete and it'll air next year. ;_;

I just read the article you linked to. He had what is probably the worst of all cancer diseases, leaving hardly a chance to stay alive. Kon was such a big creative talent. :(

I don't know. So they don't get an easy escape? Because I imagine for them death would be way easier to deal with than if they got into jail with shitload of people eager to get down their throat. Bad part about that is... they don't get thrown into jail often enough.
