News from Christmas Town: the sun is finally out, but there's still snow everywhere. I swear, this is December all over again. It's the craziest March I have ever seen. Yesterday it kept snowing all day, it was quite scary, but at least today seems off to a good start.

News from PS3 land: it started with "help me get this Kamikaze trophy, please?", and we ended up playing Heavy Rain all over again, with Tati. It was really fascinating to see it from the outside, it was really like seeing a movie. We also got tons of new trophies, we only have four left before we try our hand at getting all the different endings.

So Final Fantasy XIII had to wait. Is it just me or is it very, very simple? It doesn't seem the kind of game where you get lost exploring. That's a pity, I loved wandering around in Final Fantasy XII, in awe at the beautiful scenery. Well, we'll see.

At the point of the game I'm at, the fights suddenly get much, much harder. Unfortunately, though the maps get bigger, there's still not much to discover. I gotta say Hope starts to grow on me, and Lightning is starting to look like a surprisingly three-dimensional, believable character.

I have to admit, though, that I miss the exploring that 12 had and I really, really hope I'll get to see some green soon. Or just... not more (though very beautiful) blue. x_x

I got killed four times by the first boss on that ice land, just before Snow left the party. Now I'm getting the hang of that Optimum thing, and I got through that second boss quite easily. I'm getting tired of all that ice too. =_=

Just got into the first real forest -- damn, what a sight! Everything is so wonderfully green and full of life and detail. *___* Though that strange veggie boss beforehand was a pain in the ass.

Obiettivamente, Heavy Rain è di gran lunga più bello e coinvolgente. Siamo andate un pò avanti oggi pomeriggio, ma alla fine siamo tornate di corsa a Heavy Rain. ^^"
