They're going to make a movie out of Susan Cooper's The Dark Is Rising. You have no idea how important those books were to me as a kid, they completely shaped my very childhood. I'm positive I would be a totally different person now if I haven't read them. Still I'm not sure I want to see this one. An american main character? Why? And what about the magical girl in the poster? My jedy powers sense an Eragon lookalike!

Talking about jedi powers, yesterday I watched Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back: Kevin Smith is now one of my official deities (as if he wasn't already thanks to Dogma and Chasing Amy). I can't remember the last time I laughed so much during a movie. "Hey kids! It's Mark Hamill! Applause". And I can't believe I'm saying it, but Ben Affleck is such a good actor. He just needs a good director, just like Natalie Portman. How he and Matt Damon made fun of their careers in the Hunting Season part, I was laughing so much I couldn't breathe. Now I only need to see Mallrats and my View Askew marathon will be over, so I can watch his other movies, like Jersey Girl (can't believe I'm going to watch a movie with J. Lopez, I must really love the guy).

I haven't read "The Dark is Rising," but as you said, the poster emits a very "Eragon" feel to the movie version. Unless the trailers look mind-blowingly awesome, this movie's gonna bomb like crazy.

And I'd almost forgotten J-Lo was in "Jersey Girl." She's not in it for long though. But you don't need to see "Mallrats" to watch it. It was the only film in the View Askewniverse completely devoid of the usual Kevin Smith in-jokes, and was supposed to be a stand-alone movie that his family could go see for once (hence we're missing our old friend, the R rating.)

And I agree - JaSBSB is the reason I always give Ben Affleck the benefit of a doubt. Any guy who can appear in a movie that features a billboard of him starring as "Moonraper," or get dozens of dead hooker jokes made at his expense is all right in my book. I just don't think the guy's ever had an opportunity to really show off his acting skills - he keeps getting typecast in each movie.

Kevin Smith is awesome! I love his movies. Jay & Silent Bob is my favorite. Mallrats, too--I adore them in that.

Ho visto un po' Jersey Girl...Non lo trovo un granché.Fammi sapere se ti è piaciuto!!...Anche io adoro Dogma...è uno dei miei film preferiti,adorabile!
Di The Dark Is Rising non ne avevo mai sentito parlare...Di che parla?

I loved every detail in the movie, as the Reservoir Dogs walking around in the Miramax Studios. And all those actors making fun of themselves, as the American Pie guy... XD

E' una bellissima saga fantasy per ragazzi sulla lotta tra la Luce e le Tenebre. Nel primo romanzo, Sopra Il Mare Sotto La Terra, c'è la ricerca del Grail, insieme al Mago Merlino. Favoloso! *____________*

Ho visto l'episodio di Naruto, beh ora che ho letto il manga, è proprio vero che l'anime non va' avanti neanche a spingere... si saranno soffermati 10 minuti buoni su Neji che faceva il Byakugan, e poi altri 5 sul Hip Hip Urrà di Gai sensei.... non ho parole. Almeno hanno fatto vedere l'entrata nella caverna, temevo che non avremmo fatto in tempo a vederla. Cmq. ora mi toccherà aspettare ancora un bel po' per vedere le bunshin di Naruto che trovano il corpo esanime di Gaara, perché si concentreranno parecchio sul combattimento tra Sakura e Sasori (cosa che non mi dispiace affatto per altro). Però valutati i tempi mi sa che dovrò aspettare ancora un bel po'. =__=

Diciamo che questo episodio batte qualsiasi recordo, VENTI MINUTI PER APRIRE UNA PORTAAAAA!!!! Per poi togliermi quella scena con Naruto che chiama Gaara, a questo punto potevano anche metterla, dato che non hanno fretta...

Ho notato che anche la qualità dell'animazione si è abbassata, il che vuol dire che ci aspetta un combattimento coi fiocchi tra poco, e spero vivamente che i soldi li abbiano investiti su Sasori, e non sul team Gai...

Hai notato come sembra abbiano preso John Williams per fare le musiche? Quando sono entrati nella caverna si sentiva il Duel of Fates! XD Vai, Naruto! La spada laser, la spada laser!

Già visto! Beh, scontatuccio lo è, e pure tanto, e la delusione c'è, ma mi ha messo Landslide dei Fleetwood Mac e City Of Ruins di Springsteen, quindi la sufficienza riesce a prenderla. Spero che non sia il segno dei primi cedimenti, già Clerks 2 era deludente, tranne per un paio di scene, non mi crollerà come Tarantino, spero!!
