And the awful week is almost over. Yesterday I had my annual dental appointment, and they found out I have some rare pathology, and I have to go back next week and the week after that to devitalize two teeth. That means x-rays (which, after those six weeks of radiotherapy years ago, give me the creeps), pain, awful reactions to the anesthetic, the usual. The doctor also wants to take pictures, because, his words, "it's a rare pathology and he's never seen one quite so beautiful". My response was a gargled "gee, thanks". And then I spat blood in the sink. My gums always bleed, it's embarassing.

Anyway, I'm not that depressed, more like resigned. And at least nothing hurts yet, so I just have to go through the usual post-surgery pains, and stock up on painkillers, and I should be fine in a day.

In other news I'm almost through with my complete playthrough of Dragon Age 2 - the one where I did every single mission, got all the trophies I could, and sided with the Templars which made me really uncomfortable because I've always supported the Mages. I went with Anders to get the Rival trophy, but it really hurt my soul to upset him, I like him so much. Plus I seduced Fenris again because I'm utterly incapable of doing any other romance.

I'm falling behind with the Reading Bingo, mostly because the book I'm reading now is written in a very small font, and it hurts my eyes. I'll probably put that book on the back burner and start on something I have on my Kindle, where I can set the font to human settings.
