May. 10th, 2007 06:57 pmHighlight of the day: Sakura started chasing a bee in the balcony, and I had to try and catch her so that she wouldn't get stung. Try and catch a cat who doesn't want to be caught. Man, that was tiring, but in the end I got rid of the bee and Sakura was saved. ;)
Today at lunch I finally watched Dog Day Afternoon. It was so freaking good it makes you wonder how anybody could think of making a bank robbery movie when you already have this one. It's a masterpiece. And Al Pacino was so good in it, in my opinion his acting here was even better than in The Godfather!
The next one from my list of "Movies I Really Need To See" is Midnight Cowboy: I already know pretty much all the story because of a videogame I used to play years ago. It was a wonderful pc game about the world of movies: you are a young director, and have to make a remake of a classic movie. You have to answer questions about cinema, actors, production, cinematography and so on, gain money and make your movie. So I made a remake of "Midnight Cowboy", that's how I know all the story, but it didn't go well at the box-office... ^^" My remake of "Star Wars" was a huge success, though!
Lately I'm growing quite obsessed with Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars: I've wanted to check this one since the first time I saw the Spiders From Mars casino in Cowboy Bebop (that's also the reason why I watched The Crow the first time, because it was quoted in Cowboy Bebop), and a couple of days ago I stumbled upon Starman and fell in love with it. The whole album is amazing, I have to see if I can find it at a good price at my local music store!
