At last we have translations for Tsubasa 119, and what a chapter! They finally explain everything! O_o Can't believe it!

...I'm stuck in the middle with you... )

You know something that really pisses me off? When people use "it's" instead of "its"!!! Grrrrr... =_= I've recently seen it so often, I can't believe it! It's your language, why can't you spell it right?!

And yesterday I finally remembered why a certain scene from Reservoir Dogs was ringing so many bells to me, as if I had already seen it somewhere. I was washing the dishes, and BAM! I remembered, right out of the blue. It happened to me and Alice, on 26th december 2000, in the hospital, right after she fell ill. What I said, what she said, the way I was holding her, it's e-x-a-c-t-l-y as in the movie. Right at the beginning, when Mr White is comforting Mr Orange. I had totally forgotten about that day, it was so much traumatic! Better go and wash my face in cold water again.

And there's nothing funnier, when I'm feeling down and out, than playing with Sakura. So after my mind's big revelations, I put the Reservoir Dogs ost on winamp and started dancing around the house, with Sakura trying to catch me. It was fun like hell! An hour later, my legs were all bleeding, and Sakura was breathless, and I was laughing like mad, because she's so damn funny to watch! She jumps, and runs, and hides, and runs back when she thinks I can't see her... she's so lovely! I'm hooked on a feeeeeeling...

nausicaa83: (<a better tomorrow> cigarette)
Today I slept through most of the day, as I hadn't slept really that much in the past few days, and I needed a bit of rest. Besides, inside it's really hot (while outside it's always windy), so it's easier to fall asleep. I watched Reservoir Dogs again (I know, I'm slowly crossing the line towards addiction), and A Better Tomorrow. It was really good, and really depressing. It's so interesting to see how a different culture handles a genre I've watched since when I was 6 (USA action movies like Lethal Weapon, and so on). The first thing I noticed, they do love hurting their characters. Jeez, if you think about all the things that happen to Chow Yun Fat in this movie, it's unbelievable. Sadly the italian dubbing was poorly done (which is really weird, as usually italian dubbing is top quality), so sometimes you could see the actors talking, and hear no sound, or hear them talking with their mouths shut... which was pretty amusing, actually. XD
I love seeing cult movies not only because they're good, but also because it's funny to see how most of the movies I've seen pay homage to these movies. C'mon, Mark lighting his cigarette with a (fake) 100 dollars bill! *____* And the final scene at the harbour? Classic! Now I still have to see A Better Tomorrow 2 and Infernal Affairs, the latter I downloaded just because it has Tony Leung in it, as I don't know anything about the story. But I need some comedy too, I'm only watching depressing movies! Where's my weekly dose of Host Club? :'(
