nausicaa83: (endless dance <dracula>)
Let's not talk about how much predictable I am...

Damaged People

Movie: Bram Stoker's Dracula
Song: Damaged People
Artist: Depeche Mode

When your lips touch mine/And I lose control/I forget I'm old/And dying

It feels like years (and it probably is) since the last time I made a romance video from a live-action movie. O_o And it obviously is angst-full-omg-so-doomed romance (that's me, after all)! ;)

Hope you'll like it!

Manga and anime update!

Tsubasa Chronicle #2 - As I thought, it was a pretty boring episode, but after all they needed a bridge to the race's final episode. But still they're dragging the story as usual. Other bad points: Syaoran being the Highlander (he's so full of himself), and Tomoyo's seyuu. Yes, I love her when she sings, but she just can't do CCS!Tomoyo fangirling over Sakura, she's just wrong for the part. Good points: the animation is still better than in the first season, so let's pray it's going to last...

XXX-Holic #5 - I have mixed feelings about this. I'm loving this anime, and the little fox was uber-cute, but I didn't like how they changed the Birdcage storyline. And the birds from Clover just looked... skinny, but absolutely not mechanical, and that was really sad. I want my Suu's birds! Other than that, I'm madly in love with Watanuki's seyuu! ^^

About "manga", it's actually a "manhwa" update (I spent much money today, sob sob, but it was worth it):

Nabi - by Kim Yeon-Joo. It's a collection of short stories, set in a fantasy world, somewhere in Asia. Touching and beautiful, I love the way she tells the stories, going step by step backwards in the storyline, just like in Memento (the movie). If you've seen it, you know what I mean. Some pics:

...bigger image under cut... )

Arcana - by Lee So-Young, the same one who did Model. This one reminds me of the Dragonlance saga, and the atmosphere feels a bit like RG Veda. I like the fact that nothing is what it seems, the art is teh-pretty, and the creatures and fantastic people look believable. Still two months till next volume (#6) comes out, though. :'(

Here you can find a few pics.
