nausicaa83At last I watched A Better Tomorrow 2. While I loved the first one down to every tiny detail, this one was rather disappointing. A short guide:
1- If you're a little girl in a John Woo's movie, you're screwed.
2- Even if you're dead, don't worry for the sequel. They'll get your american long lost twin brother to fill the gap. WTF?!
3- If you're in a gunfight, you'll survive as long as the background music keeps on playing.
Even if I loved seeing Chow Yun Fat wearing his duster coat again, it wasn't enough to save the movie. I can see why John Woo disowned this film (apart from the final gun battle, of course, that Tarantino referenced in all his movies).
And thus sunday is over, and another week starts. And it'll be another rushed week again. Every day leads me closer to november, one year from the accident, and I'm dead scared. I keep having flashes in my head of that afternoon... jeez, I have to keep my mind focused on something else.
