It's been a quiet week so far, but there's finally been some slow progress on some real life stuff that's been worrying me for almost a year. Plus therapy is going great, although now we have to set our sessions during low tide hours. Yes, with the crazy hot weather we're having the acqua alta is back in Venice, right in time for Carnevale. Thus yesterday we had our session at four pm, and it was such a beautiful day. The sun was warm, the air was cold, my therapist and I ate frittelle di carnevale (the best thing ever about this season), and when I went back home this was the view from the Ponte delle Guglie:



The Ghetto (the Jewish Quarters) is just on the right after the pharmacy. It was really a magical moment, the sun was setting and the warm light was touching the roofs of all the buildings around me, and this song was playing on my ipod. I had to stop and breathe it all in for a few minutes before I could start walking again.

Purtroppo è durata poco, da ieri notte piove a più non posso. Freddo però non ce n'è, infatti l'acqua alta continua imperterrita. Sembra proprio Novembre!

I came over to check when the last time you posted was, because I was having the feeling it'd been too long - but my head's been incredibly busy this week so not to be trusted - and what do I see? A post from only a couple of days ago! Which I sure as hell KNOW I didn't see! That photo...♥___♥ How do you live in such an amazing place?:)

I'm glad progress is being made in areas that seem to have needed it for a while. Sometimes slow progress can be frustrating but sometimes it's a relief it's finally happening - I get the impression this is the latter and I hope it is.

Have a lovely weekend!:) I'm working for most of the day and then watching 'Elementary' in the evening - something to which I'm really looking forward to because I realized that it's currently the only show I'm following that brings me only uncomplicated enjoyment and has been consistently without flaws for which I want to raise an eyebrow and/or rant at its makers.

Sadly I won't be able to go downtown for a few days because of the acqua alta, but I made a pinky swear with myself to take more pictures with my cellphone when I do. I usually just go "that's so pretty" and walk on, forgetting my cellphone has a camera that's better than my actual camera. The times they are a-changing a bit too fast for me.

Elementary is just... perfect. I can't find a single flaw, and every new episode just makes me really happy, like a hug. And considering that both Sherlock and Person of Interest have been very disappointing this season, it's great to see that nothing changed with Elementary. *_______*
