Happy New Year! We had a little celebration here, just Tati and I, in our pjs watching cartoons and acting like little old ladies. It was awesome. *_____*


We finally had my first cup of tea in two caffeine-free months. It was glorious. We made apple and cinnamon muffins, and drank the Thorin & Company tea I bought from AdagioTeas last year, and we watched My Neighbour Totoro on tv. Those are the tea cups from my mom's dowry, I'm pretty certain I'm the first one to ever use them.




We tried a new recipe, Tagliatelle Ai Porri E Salsiccia (that's egg-based pasta with leek and sausage) and it was delicious. Tati did most of the cooking, and I set the table and ran around taking pictures. :D



In the morning we watched the New Year's Concert from the La Fenice Theater in Venice, did a lot of gossip (Tati knows a lot of the musicians and singers because she used to perform with them), and ate grapes. Such a lovely way to start the new year. ♥

And now I have a bunch of text messages left to send, I must run. ^^
