Because this is the first thing we do, after toasting to the New Year. ;)

I'm hoping LJ will start working again, this is a very unfortunate time of the year to stop working, not to mention I still have lots of persons to send virtual gifts to. Talking of mechanical faults, and because I want to start this new year with silly anedoctes, the other day my Kindle, for the very first time, stopped working. I was curled up in bed reading a rather hot fanfic, and it died on the most NC17 page of all. Got stuck there. And when I realized it wouldn't restart and nothing worked, I made then and there a solemn oath to buy a new one instead of calling support because then I would have to refuse to take a picture of what was the problem. :D Couldn't it get blocked two pages earlier when they were still having coffee?!

Anyway, with the help of google, I fixed it, and now it's working fine. Apparently it's something the software does from time to time, but it had never happened to me. It was quite a scare. But it was also really really funny. XD

Oh, that is SUCH a funny story! Who were 'they' if I may ask? I mean the ones having coffee two pages before engaging in acts that would give the blushes of any tech support.:D

You know, it's a legitimate concern for all of us! My laptop is getting old and recently I've thought a time or two that maybe one day it'll freeze on a page that's NC-17 like whoa and then it'll be fun to take it to some geeky guys to fix it. I always envisage some adult slashy drawing.

Or better still, a page of explicit sexual text that *I* am writing.:D

Since I forgot to specify it, it was my most recent OTP, Thorin and Bilbo, that have completely conquered my brain after a certain scene in the movie. I'm not sure whether you have seen it yet or not, and I do not want to spoil you my favourite scene in the whole movie. ♥ I'm so obsessed, you have no idea, and I found a fantastic writer on AO3 who writes them so perfectly. *_____*

I never thought it could freeze on a page, I thought it would shut down if it had any problems, so now I have a new fear everytime I turn it on. ^^"

I swear, if it DOES happen, I'll just buy a new one, my precious.

Heee, è un classico che gli aggeggi elettronici si rompano sempre dove e quando NON devono! Spero che almeno la fanfic valesse la pena di essere letta: probabilmente avresti aperto al tizio del centro di assistenza un mondo totalmente nuovo!!! ;)

Che bello il calendario di Sherlock! L'ho comprato anch'io, ma non l'avevo ancora aperto per paura di rovinarlo. Ormai è ora di farlo! ^_^


P.S. - UDITE UDITE!!! Abbiamo le date per 'The Tempest' al Globe!!! Il nuovo volantino apparso oggi sul sito del teatro dice che The Tempest inizierà il 23 Aprile, mentre l'opera successiva sarà dal 24 maggio. Questo significa che abbiamo un mese per andare a Londra e goderci lo spettacolo! A questo punto sarebbe bello riuscire magari ad andare su per il ponte lungo del 25 aprile (ammesso che ci sia lo spettacolo in quei giorni), perché la settimana dopo ho mia figlia che fa la comunione (il 1° maggio) e non mi posso muovere. Dobbiamo riuscire a scoprire le date esatte e organizzarci al più presto! Che ne dici?
