I so know what you mean. It took me years to get Tati to watch Supernatural, and all the while I had to avoid any and all spoilers, even while obsessively talking about it all the freaking time. When she started watching it, thankfully she was completely unspoilt, so go me for my restraint.
It's like when I started watching Game of Thrones, and all my friends were warning me to not get attached to anyone, because all your favourite characters die, yadda yadda, and yet when they started dying I was completely shocked and unprepared. :D
Livejournal has been acting weird all day yesterday. No notifications, varnish 503 errors, weird smileys, I hope that doesn't mean they're already implementing the new friendspage, I need more time to adjust!
