I did recognize it.:) And it was instantly one of my favourite musical moments too! I'm heading toward the end of the season—about to watch "Hell House" and "Something Wicked" now. I must say the season really picked up in the second half!
(It feels odd to know I'm so in the beginning. I know Supernatural fandom is huge and there's already been SO MUCH fan stuff out there: discussions, speculations, fanfic, art, videos, meta, the whole lot. And here I am, watching the first season and not knowing ANYTHING at ALL.:))
