This is the reason why I love Eleven so much. To him, there are no ordinary persons, no unimportant ones, extras that can be sacrificed. Everyone's important. The same reason why I love the fifth season of Supernatural so much. There's no such thing as an "acceptable number of deaths". Everyone must be saved, and if we can't, then we're just not trying hard enough.
