Another great movie tonight too! And this time it was Fight Club!

It's true, the movie is incredibly violent, and it's like being hit in the guts for more than two long hours, but I loved it! It's like looking at the deepest, darkest point of your soul and of your life, and letting the darkness and emptiness inside slowly eat you. It's not a good feeling, I know, but it was some kind of relief too. You look at the emptiness inside you, and then you take another deep breath and come out of the water again.

...spoilerrific...
The funny thing about it, was that I knew Tyler's true identity the moment he appeared on screen. I read lots of comments about how shocking the ending was, but to me it was unbelievably clear, and that's probably because I saw A Beautiful Mind first, and that shocked me *a lot*. I mean, we have those little flashes of Tyler right at the beginning, and I thought "Good grief, the last thing you need now is an imaginary friend!". And how he suggested him what to say while others didn't even mind him, it was so much like A Beautiful Mind, too easy to see. Should have seen this one first, I fear.
