Today's entry features, again, the marvel that is my aunt. This morning she went to visit mom, as usual, but came back home way sooner than I expected. She usually spends hours there, which is a thing that makes me feel quite lonely, but I never told her that, obviously. So, she walks in, and I'm standing there, quite surprised, and she's holding a bag of icecream, and she looks at me and tells me "I was sitting there by my sister's bed, and she spent one hour staring at the ceiling, and suddenly I thought 'my niece is back home alone, and I'm here sitting with her mother who can't even know if I'm in the room', so I came back, bought you icecream, and then we can go downtown and see what movies they're playing at the cinema."

I was completely dumbfounded. Sort of deer in the headlights. Then my brain kicked back in, and I rushed to the bathroom screaming about being ready in five minutes, just have to wash my hair, don't even move. And we had icecream and went downtown and we're going to the cinema both tomorrow and next tuesday, as today there was only The Descendants and we've already seen that. In other words, best week ever! \o/
