First things first, thank you all for being so nice to me when I was having a hard time the other day. You guys are wonderful! ♥
I'm feeling a lot better. I'm planning my trip to London, making a list of things we must see and checking it twice, the teeth are recovering nicely, and I'm practicing a lot on my ukulele. A lot. I can't honestly say how many times I've played Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious so far, but it's driving my cat mad, so I'd say I've reached the hundreds. I swear, when I start on the chorus she gets up and leaves the room.
This morning I finally went to therapy, after that long hiatus because stitches and all. It's a lovely summer day, sunny and windy, so I wore a pretty grey dress and my favourite sandals. I was walking past the railway station, dodging turists, when my shoes started feeling funny, soft and bouncy. I stopped, checked them, and both heels were broken. Crushed to bits. Luckly my favourite shoe store was a few minutes ahead. I hopped inside and bought these cute shoes:

I used to wear high-heeled espadrilles (and high heels in general) all the time when I was a teenager, and so I thought "why not?". It's going to take some practice to get really used to them, sure, but they don't hurt and I didn't twist anything even while running to the clinic, and they made me feel so much taller! :D
And since I'm posting pictures, here's a bonus picture of what happens when I leave my ukulele unattended for more than 20 seconds:

Tomorrow I'm supposed to have the final surgery on the stupid tooth, and then it's going to be three weeks before my gums are completely healed. It's the light at the end of the tunnel, at last!
