Update on the health situation: my face finally looks normal! It still hurts, but I can eat normal food (although only cold stuff), and that makes me really happy. I missed you, food. Today was a beautiful, warm day, and I took a nice stroll outside, wearing only a light jacket. When I came back home, I ran into the new neighbour from upstairs. As it turns out, he's a super nice person, and we talked a lot, and he helped me carry the groceries upstairs. Nine years I've lived here, it had never happened before. He even apologized because he has the flu, and he's been coughing a lot during the night, and he was worried he had disturbed me. I came this close to giving him a big hug. *____*

Next surgery is on thursday morning, let's hope it all goes according to plan. It'll be a while until I can eat warm food again, but most of all I miss tea. I can eat all the ice cream I want and I'm whining because I want a cup of tea, if child!Nausicaa could see me now she would be appalled. :D
