"When you're weary, feeling small, when tears are in your eyes, I will dry them all."

The weather is trying to kill me. On saturday I woke up with a cold, nothing much, and managed to shake it off by monday. Yesterday some kind of virus manifested (something like the flu that's making the rounds, I probably caught it on the bus), that gave me fever, spasms, made my blood pressure drop to the point that I nearly collapsed a few times, and good old nausea. Because obviously that wasn't enough, at noon I got a panic attack. Now, on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being that one time I got hospitalized, this panic attack was an 8. Holy shit, it was so painful.

Now, today I feel a bit better. All the muscles in my body are still in pain, although not as much as yesterday, the fever is still there, but I managed to have a cup of tea and some biscuits, and I slept through the night, so yay. I just took some paracetamol, now I'm going back to bed. At least I feel a lot more lucid, so I can read something to pass the time, instead of staring at the ceiling.

(The doorbell just rang, and it was the nicest Jehovah's Witness ever. He apologized for disturbing me, asked me if he could leave some magazines about the Bible, and when I told him "thanks, but I'm an Atheist", he replied "oh, I'm so sorry I disturbed you, then, have a nice day!". What a lovely person!)
