nausicaa83: (<tsubasa chronicle> my mind?)
Movies update!

First, I saw Millennium Actress by Satoshi Kon. It was one of the best movies I have ever seen, no kidding. I can't imagine a better way to describe a person's memories. The editing was flawless, the story was so captivating, and I can't remember the last time I cried so much at the end of a movie. Not because of some dramatic sequences, but just because it was such a beautiful movie. I hope they'll release it here very soon, so I can buy the dvd. ^^

Then, I just finished watching Three kings. My, that was some kick in the stomach. George Clooney was perfect as always, and the editing was really interesting, especially the first shooting sequence at Saddam's bunker. I also loved how they succeeded in showing the iraqis as human beings, without feeling cheesy. Still, I shouldn't have watched it while eating dinner... =_=

The stupid period isn't over yet, so I still feel sore and sleepy. I have my warm and fuzzy Sakura-chan sleeping in my lap, and that helps a lot. ^^ I noticed that her eyes are slowly turning green, I guess she isn't over with her "growing period" yet.
